Welcome and thanks for visiting the AfricaJack Foundation's new website. Jack Miller, founder

November 2006, I was moved to make a change in my life and start giving back to humanity. Sounds noble, but it required a switch from living a comfortable life to eating mac and cheese on a more regular basis.
I jumped head first into a project and pledged to do what I could. I heard about an orphanage in Zimbabwe that needed $10,000 to complete a learning center. That goal seemed one that I could tackle and it changed my life.

One snowy weekend in Denver, CO, my life partner and I created an online marketing campaign called, AfricaJack. It was composed of two words, catchy, easy to remember and available as a web page. We knew an online campaign was the easiest and quickest way to educate inform our friends, family and business associates! We didn't have much time to raise the funds. With everyone's help we reached our goal in less than 60 days.
Upon my return from Africa, we started the formation of the Foundation and received our Letter of Determination from the IRS in July 2007 notifying us of our 501(c)3 exempt status.
